數位藝術開門
“數位藝術開門FLOSS Art”課程主要由鄭鴻旗與沈聖博授課,工作坊課程以Pure Data為工具,陪同20名學員們從了解FLOSS Art開始,到概念性的解說與案例的分享、說明,最後以軟體的操作與個人創作與發揮,來逐漸認識FLOSS Art的相關事物。
學員在為期三天的課程之中,可以從概念到實務的軟體操作,全方位地體驗FLOSS Art的精神,逐一了解聲音、圖像、立體圖形,以及互動操作的設計。並期許學員們在未來皆可以繼續使用Pure Data,在數位藝術領域中進行無限可能的
The OpenLab.Taipei team is dedicated to promoting the concept of FLOSS Art and was invited by Digital Art Center Taipei (DAC) to host an education program, “FLOSS Art- Opening up Digital Art,” at DAC Resource Classroom from July 21 to 23, 2009. This education program aimed to promote free-floating creative concepts and the use of software interface. Only through the use of free-floating open software creation, originality and a new level of freedom can achievements be made in the field of digital art. At the same time, we hope to encourage digital art diversity through a series of collaborations.
Hung-chi Cheng and Sheng-po Shen lectured at the “FLOSS Art- Opening up Digital Art” education program. Throughout the workshop, Pure Data was applied as a tool to introduce FLOSS Art to 20 students, followed by explanations and sharing of concepts and case studies. Lastly, software operation, individual artistic creation, and elaboration were used for the students to gain a better knowledge of FLOSS Art and related applications.
During this 3-day program, students were asked to learn about sounds, images, 3D shapes and designs of interactive operation. The concepts and practicality of software operation provided a comprehensive experience for students to grasp the spirit of FLOSS Art. We sincerely hope that students will continue to utilize Pure Data in the coming future and push the limits of creation in the field of digital art.
工作坊活動情形:
在第一天的課程安排中,學員們到齊後並開始解說FLOSS Art的出發點與願景。
本次工作坊課程以Pure Data為主要創作工具,先把簡單的指令與不同的數值條件設定完成,再經由慢慢地交互連結與呼應,使作品產生多樣化的呈現。
在上課過程中,學員們有任何問題都會立即舉手發問,聖博老師也會馬上到學員身旁,進行一對一的指導與討論,讓學員們可以藉由與講師們的互動,提高對於介面操作的熟悉度,並和老師們討論出最佳的設計方法與參數。
鴻旗老師在投影幕前仔細講解程式與連接元素時的技巧,讓學員們了解呈現的方式與指令的寫入,藉此提升大家對於軟體的認知,並在看似複雜的程式圖中發現簡單的設計原理。
本次工作坊活動特別邀請到汪建均老師與黃俊一老師,向學員講解interaction UI軟體的使用方式與界面的設定,讓學員們了解如何利用聲音元素,在認識創作素材之後,可在未來的藝術創作之中交互使用。

在為期三天的藝術洗禮下,學員們的創作逐漸成形。大家利用圖形、顏色、移動路徑與速度,配合聲音撥放的機制,完成獨一無二的數位藝術作品。
